TEXAS STRONG

I truly have no words for what is happening in Houston, TX. Josh and I were just in Houston about two weeks before Hurricane Harvey absolutely devastated this city. Our sweet friends Matt & Alex, two of Josh's best friends from college, live in this beautiful city and opened up their home to us for the weekend. We fell in love with Houston and loved exploring this city with Matt & Alex as they raved about their community and their neighborhood. This same neighborhood and community were flooded to the point where they couldn't leave their house for a few days. While their home is safe, the same can't be said for many other families in the Houston area and surrounding communities. THOUSANDS of people have been displaced due to the amount of rain that poured down on Houston. This was completely unexpected. People are now having to rely on the government, their country, and their fellow Texans to pull through. It is heart breaking to see how many Texans have been displaced with absolutely nowhere to go.

Josh and I have always had a special place in our hearts for Texas and have been watching the news every day to see how we can specifically pray for these sweet people. We road tripped across this beautiful state last month for almost nine days, staying with some amazing Texans whom we love dearly. I felt lead to share some important information with my readers of how YOU can help those in need. Please see the information below.
