Target Tuesdays With Riley Part 37

Welcome to the blog y'all!

I hate that I can't call this a #TargetTuesdaysWithRiley post because I have just been slacking lately.

I have been hanging onto this pictures since last weekend/week but I've been all over the place the past week. I accepted a new job last Friday (still sticking with SF too!) which is super exciting, we traveled to Dallas for a quick weekend trip, I've had work, and I haven't been feeling 100% to be honest. 

I am kicking my organization skills into high gear and promising myself that I will do better. I have just been in a weird space mentally, have been super hard on myself, and have been feeling extremely insecure. Overall, I've just been feeling off. I hate it and I'm ready to MAKE A CHANGE.

We are heading to San Diego for our sweet friend's wedding next week, so I wanted to get this blog post up ASAP since I have another chaotic week ahead of me. I am so excited for a few days with family, friends, & all of my favorite San Diego things.

I do want to acknowledge the horrible lighting in these photos. I had a pretty full cart so I popped into one of the family dressing rooms and one of the big lights was out. I had already committed and unloaded my clothes before realizing. *palm to face*

I used a different filter than usual which will hopefully help! My Target is also under MAJOR renovations, so I am hoping we will get a new dressing room area soon. I keep seeing bloggers post their chic Target try-on sessions and get SO jealous. My patience is fading...LOL! So thank you for  sticking with me y'all!

I'll be honest with y'all, half of the tops in my closet are graphic tees. I have a weakness! 

I've been on the hunt for more tops to wear for dates out with Josh & get together's with friends. This top was comfortable & extremely flattering!

I'm not a fan of mid-rise jeans these days (high-rise all the way) but I actually loved this pair. I definitely need to add more dark denim to my wardrobe!

This dress is PERFECT for the fall & winter wedding seasons. I grabbed this in a medium and it actually fit perfectly. I could have gone for a little more room when it comes to the slip underneath, but I don't think I would have had a problem with the medium! (I'm 5'7" and usually wear a medium or large.)

I have seen so many people wearing this dress and I honestly didn't think it would look good on me. Being a woman on the taller side with curves, it's pretty rare that short dresses are a comfortable length, but this dress actually fit great! I sized up for length overall, but also so the sleeves would be a little bit longer as well.
