Target Tuesdays With Riley Part 36

Hi, dolls!

This week's post is coming at you a couple of days late because it's a been a crazyyyyy week.

We are prepping for a trip this weekend, I've been working, & we had Dixie's follow up appointment for her bacteria infection yesterday morning. She is a puppy that is 57 lbs. at six months old which means she is too much for me to handle at the vet alone. She also gets a bit of anxiety because she's been through so much in six months! (ex: eye ulcer, entropion surgery, spay surgery, bacteria infections, allergic reactions) On top of that, she is always distracted by the other animals which equals her trying to get out of her harness. Let's just say she's given me a few scratches on my feet and I've sweat through a few shirts because she yanks me in a million different directions while everyone stares. That means dad comes to all vet appointments now! He was holding her this morning because it's really the only way to get her to calm down and our vet was so entertained by it that he snapped a picture and posted it on his Instagram. (I reposted it on my Instagram for y'all to see) I instantly geeked out because our vet clinic actually has their own show on Animal Planet so they have a pretty big following on social media. It was so cool! My mom actually introduced me to their show when we were still living in San Diego so when I found out we were moving to Cypress where their clinic is, I was so excited to take our future pup there one day!

Anyways, all of that to say, I am so sorry this post is getting up late!

This cutie definitely had to come home with me! How darling is this dress? I love that it'll help me transition into the fall season here in Texas since it can later be worn with a denim jacket or cardigan as it cools down.

I love this color for fall!

The style of this dress is absolutely darling. I grabbed it in a medium but possibly could have sized up since it is a true wrap style. It was already kind of big in the chest with the medium, so I would recommend wearing a bralette with this dress! I did also love that this is the kind of wrap dress that closes comfortably and doesn't leave you feeling like you're about to flash someone. That's one of my biggest pet peeves!

I mean, could a t-shirt be any more perfect for so many of us?

STYLIST TIP: If you don't like fitted t-shirts, always size up at least once when buying a graphic tee from Target. 99.9% of the time in my experience, they are more fitted than I prefer. I've even sized up twice before!

I did buy this cardigan and wore it all day yesterday! It's perfect for those of you that are ready for fall but live in warmer climates because it's super thin. This is another great transitional piece!

I will definitely be going back for this skirt! This sweater skirt was so comfortable and this is coming from someone who ALWAYS avoids fitted skirts. I grabbed a large because I am usually so self conscious with this kind of style so I prefer wiggle room, but I definitely could have worn a medium. I would say try it in your true size, but you may be able to size down depending on how you want it to fit.
